CCTV cameras on fishing boats to cut discard

EU under pressure to impose bluefin ban

The EU is coming under growing pressure to preserve dwindling stocks of bluefin tuna.
A panel of independent experts appointed by the UN recommended at a meeting in Rome that international trade in the critically endangered bluefin should be banned or at least controlled if the species is to survive.

Sustainable seafood pledge for London 2012

All seafood served at the London Olympics in 2012 will be sustainable, organisers have announced.
